Markets.com is a market maker that offers commission-free trading through one type of CFD account on currency pairs. The brokerage offers its own trading platform called Markets.com, providing various additional features. The company also offers the widely known MetaTrader 4 and 5 as other platform options.
Markets.com offers one type of account where trading is commission-free and all fees are included in the instrument spread. By default, you open an account with the markets.com platform. If you want to trade with the MetaTrader 4 and 5 platforms, you need to open a MetaTrader account.
Markets.com offers the following financial instruments:
Currency Pairs – You can trade CFDs on 56 currency pairs including majors, minors, and exotics. A typical spread for the EUR/USD pair is 0.7 pips.
Indices – 32 CFDs are available on major indices such as the UK100, US30 and DAX 40. The typical spread for the US 30 is 3.5 points. The leverage is 1:20.
Commodities – 23 CFDs on metals, energy and food products are available, including Gold and Oil. A typical spread for Gold is USD 0.30 and for Oil USD 0.04. The leverage is 1:10-1:20.
Shares – The company offers leveraged, commission-free trading on over 2,000 CFDs on shares of companies from around the world. The typical spread for the Apple shares is about USD 0.07 and the leverage is 1:10.
Cryptocurrencies – CFDs on 26 cryptocurrencies such as BTC, ETH, etc. The typical spread for Bitcoin is USD 75. The leverage is 1:2.
Regulators in Europe, the UK and Australia have the same leverage requirements. Retail traders from one of these regions should expect the following leverage:
30:1 for CFDs on major currency pairs
20:1 for CFDs on minor currency pairs, gold or major indices

For example, you have the option of logging into your platform using Facebook, Google, and Apple accounts. Additionally, one-click trading and trading from the charts is available, allowing you to save time by making your trades at the click of a button and directly through the charts. The terminal provides various tools giving a better insight into the markets and trading assets. They are divided into 3 categories – for fundamental analysis, for technical analysis and for market sentiment.
MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) – To access MT4 or MT5, you must register for MetaTrader access. You get a different account, which means you won’t be able to transfer your trading data between the company’s own platform and MetaTrader, but you will be able to use them separately.
Markets.com offers a variety of deposit methods, including bank transfer, Visa and MasterCard credit cards, Skrill, Neteller, PayPal, Ideal and SoFort. Regardless of the deposit method chosen, the minimum deposit required is 100 USD/EUR/GBP. When withdrawing, Markets.com has minimum required amounts – for credit/debit card: 10 USD/EUR/GBP, for bank transfer: 100 USD/EUR/GBP, for Skrill/Neteller: 5 USD/EUR/GBP and for PayPal: 10 USD/EUR/GBP. Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours for е-wallets and up to 2-7 business days for credit cards.
When your trading account has remained inactive for more than 3 months (90 days), the company applies an inactivity fee of USD 10 per month, explaining it to cover the operational and administrative costs of maintaining your account.
