Trade.com WebTrader

Financial company Lead Capital Markets Limited provides its services through the brand-name Trade.com. Alongside the popular desktop platform MetaTrader 4, the broker has its own-developed web application called Trade.com WebTrader.

The default view represents a simple workspace that is divided into two parts. The left side is for the instrument window and the right side – for the chart window. Instruments can be displayed as a list and as cubes. The main difference between two views is showing the open positions for each instrument in the list. Cubes are more convenient for quick trade and check the spreads.

The main menu bar is at the top of the workspace. It consists of tabs that display the relevant information. The first tab provides the ability for sorting available instruments by top risers, top fallers, top volatiles and by trends, so the clients can get an idea of the market at a glance.

Customers can organize a favorites list that is viewed from the Favorites tab. The Open Positions tab displays all open positions in the instruments window. They can be closed or modified here. The Closed Positions and Order History tabs show information into the whole workspace. The last tab displays the upcoming events and some additional data about affected instruments and prediction range. Customers can set reminders for the anticipated events. Details button shows the description of the indicator and opens statistical data for the past years. The news button is at the right of the menu bar. It opens the latest news provided by investing.com.

Account balance information is available on the account window, located below the instruments. Each parameter here has an explanation that appears in a pop-up window.

The chart window can be maximized to occupy the entire workspace. Open positions are displayed here as horizontal lines showing the type of order (buy or sell), the order number and the traded quantity. Details about the selected instrument are available at the top of the chart window. There are buy and sell buttons, so customers can trade directly from the chart. Ten time-frames are available – from 1 minute to 1 month and charts can be displayed as candlesticks, bars and lines. Charts colors can be changed from the settings button. Fans of technical analysis can use 80 indicators for their strategies. Graphical objects are available from the next button, including vertical, horizontal and trend lines. If the crosshair is active, details of the open, close, high and low values are shown.

Account statements and support information are available in the My Account menu at the top of the workspace.
