FXDD Web

FXDD is now the trading name of FXDD Malta Ltd, a financial company that offers online trading services through the world popular MetaTrader 4 platform and Forexware’s desktop and web versions of XW Trader. The web version is called WebTrader and doesn’t require any download or installation. It can be launched on any computer with an Internet connection.

After successful logging into the platform, the default workspace is loaded. It consists of three windows that can be resized. The Quote Panel is on the left side of the workspace and contains all instruments available for trading. Customers can search the one they want by typing its name in the search bar located in the upper left corner of the window. Once found, the instrument can be added to favorites by clicking on the star next its name. The dropdown menu categorizes instruments by asset classes. Instruments can be displayed as cubes and be detached as a widget. The quote panel can also be detached as a separate window by clicking on the Window button.

Clicking on the Bid or Ask price of the instrument opens the Place Order window. Customers can set the order parameters here including instrument, quantity, sell or buy, stop loss and take profit level and trailing stop value. Pending orders can also be placed here. Once the order has been placed successfully, a confirmation message appears.

One-click trading can be activated from the Settings button in the Quote window. Default trade properties are defined here and after that the 1-click trading feature is active. This feature can be turned on and off by clicking on the ‘lightning’ button next to the symbol.

Open positions are displayed in the Information panel. Right click shows the menu where the position can be modified or closed. The panel consists of four tabs, each of them contains information about active pending orders, trading history and notifications.

Charts window occupies the main part of the workspace and can be maximized to full screen. There is a tool bar on the top of the window that allows chart properties to be modified. There are Undo and Redo buttons that make the chart easier to use. The current chart screen can be saved and shared as an URL address. There are 11 time-frames – from 1 minute to 1 month. Customers can choose among normal candles, Heikin-Ashi, bars or lines. Graphical objects include measuring tool, trend lines, support/resistance lines, geometric shapes and Fibonacci retracements. There are nearly 60 indicators alphabetically sorted. Right click on the chart opens a detailed menu with additional settings including placing new orders.
