TD365 CloudTrader

The company Finsa Pty Limited operates under a trade name TradeDirect365. It is an Australian brokerage firm that is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and has developed its own web-based trading platform called CloudTrader.

The platform looks simple and useful. There are two sections and an information bar at the top of the workspace.

The assets available for trading are in the Market Explorer window in the left part of the upper section. There is a search box where you can find a specific instrument. All assets are presented as a tree structure. The chosen group or the instrument found in the search box are displayed in the Price window next to the Market Explorer. Each line of the Price window shows the sell and the buy prices, daily changes, daily lows and highs and the action buttons. You can set a price alert or create a new watchlist from the Price window or you can open the chart of the instrument.

You can place orders by clicking the Trade or Order buttons. The Trade window opens and here you can set the order type – market order if you select the Trade button or limit and stop order if you select the Order button. Enter the amount and then click the Submit button to open the position or place the pending order. Here you can choose whether this position can be hedged.

Already open positions can be viewed in the Position section by clicking the Open position tab. You can close or modify positions here. The other tabs are for pending orders, transaction history, activity history and account summary.

The chart module opens in a resizable window that can be sent in a new browser tab.

There are buy and sell buttons in the chart and you can trade directly from here. You can open a new chart in the same window from the search box. Chart types include candlesticks, HeikinAshi, bars, lines, area, etc. Time frame starts from one minute to one month. Zooming can be done by the dedicated buttons or by the mouse scroll wheel. There are many graphical objects including different types of lines, geometric shapes, measurement tool, text, and Fibonacci retracement. Over 90 technical indicators are available from the Studies menu and can be configured by the right click then Edit. The chart displays the mid-prices.

The information bar is at the top containing account details such as account balance, margin requirements, current profit/loss, and account profile. All the reports for your account can be viewed here.

Overall, the platform is simple and provides all the necessary tools for basic trading. It is suitable for the average trader. More experienced traders would prefer the MetaTrader terminal, which the company also offers.
